| We live in Sintjohannesga, a small town approximately 5 kilometers west of Heerenveen, in the Netherlands, Europe. GPS coordinates are N52 55.981 E5 51.058. Sintjohannesga is located in the province of Friesland, known for its lakes and friendly people.
We have all neccesities nearby: a grocery, two schools for children, a garage and even a home for the elderly. Heerenveen and Joure are both about 5 to 8 kilometers away and provide all the rest you will need. Sintjohannesga combines the tranquility of a small town with the activity of larger towns nearby. And, for those who want to know: Amsterdam is 120 kilometers (or 1 hour 20 minutes) away, Groningen 65 kilometers (or just over half an hour) and Zwolle 60 kilometers (or 45 minutes). |
